My ex-wife turned me on to a scammer that started trolling one of her favorite forums the other day. She is what you would call a marijuana connoisseur. She is actually a medical user of the stuff and reads up on the latest developments on this forum. Apparently this new user popped up and started to advertise his goods. He claims to be shipping it from Cameroon and does not ask for money until you receive it. The pictures he attached were laughable. Even when I was in high school I would not have touched this stuff.
Here is a link before he gets his postings yanked. You are not supposed to use the forum to sell your goods.

I emailed him from a baiter account to say I was interested. He sent me a couple of emails which traced back to Cameroon.

I got an email from someone else with a bunch of pictures of the worst pot that I have ever seen. It looked like grass scraped off the bottom of a lawnmower. Hmmm... This is not the skunk I was looking for...

I did a quick Google search and it does not appear that skunks live in Africa. What will he try to sell me? I am very picky about my yacht leather. |

My ex told me that the scammer claimed to have shipped out the product to a few people on the forum that requested it. Of course they were all aware that it was a scam (besides the fact that they are all educated in Amsterdam coffee shops and wouldn't use that crap as compost).
Now the forum is wondering what the scam is. My guess is that they will receive an email from a courier company with a tracking number and website and that they need to pay customs clearance fees. |

It might turn out to be a PayPal scam: You get an email from the scammer pretending to be an employee of PayPal telling you that you need to pay to an account that actually belongs to the scammer (or via WU), and they will hold the money in escrow until you receive the goods. |
