Just a quick introduction...

I'm chance1 (made up name!!!) and have been really enjoying this site for some time. The letters archives are fantastic reading!

I have registered today, and have gently tested the water with a little baiting already...

I'm sure you regulars and seasoned pros will already be familiar with the Honorable Paymaster General and his concerns that a Mrs Mellinda Willis presented herself (supposedly on my behalf) at his office to claim a stupidly large sum of money that the Nigerian government had decided was due to me!

So, assuming the identity of a UK businessman who was recently scammed, I am very pleased that it looks like I'm getting my money back! (Although I have yet to ask why I am to receive seventeen and a half million usd, when all I lost was a paltry one hundred thousand usd!

But, more of a concern to "me" right now is I have a business associate with the name "Willis" and suspect the two may be working together... I need the Honorable Paymaster General to convince me not to report the matter to the UK Police and have my "business associate" arrested, and for the UK police to work with the Paymaster General's office and get to the bottom of it...

Just playing it by ear at the moment... Will update (or seek guidance) as and when!

Have been thoroughly reading the stickies and tutorials... although, much can be learnt by reading the letter archives - certainly the way to play etc...

I'm doing pretty well with my first bait (I won't reproduce anything just yet - besides, I'm sure you've all seen it a hundred times before), but my esteemed Honorable Paymaster General has already deviated from the script and dug himself a couple of holes... (I like it when the font changes when he needs to add a bit!)

I'm just a little disappointed that, although his wonderful letterhead states 24HR SERVICE (in BIG red letters) he's buggered off home (or the internet cafe has now closed!)

Serious question:

Is there much baiting to do in the evenings, or is all the action during the day?

Time zone doesn't really matter... I do all my baiting at night anyway... Just makes the lads wait longer...

Read the stickies, Eater U has great information and you will usually get good advice if you ask. Just don't expect sense at the same time.

And never mention S***** in a post, the prat turns up whenever he thinks anyone is talking about him. Very Happy
