I got this PM today on wrongplanet.com, a forum for people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome. Basically, people who are probably extremely susceptible to this format.

Typical Senegal scammer approach.

On the positive side, the odds are probably less than 20% that he actually understands what the site is about. As long as they have a pm system to abuse or email addresses to harvest, they will go for it, without paying attention to the purpose of the site. They have tried to pick up targets directly from antiscam sites more than once. My favorite was the one I got that liked my profile on adopt-a-pet.com I'm not sure which of the 50 or so dogs and cats I had posted "she" was trying to pick up.
We have also seen them a few times on sites for people with disabilities, and on sites for single parents with disabled children. The ones who understand who they are targeting are the ones that bother me the most.
With that said, "she" is fair game anyway. |

I'm an aspie, I've gotten this sort of message several times, and I'm not susceptible. If someone sends me a message saying she found my profile, and doesn't refer to anything in my profile, I consider her a fake. I get them in response to a listing in a church directory, not a dating site. At least once I looked at the sender's profile and she was married and looking! |
