I recieved a strange email in one of my catcher accounts, what's the deal here? IP is located in nigeria

Only one way to find out is reply. I am kind of smelling a begger here so tread lightly and if it is not looking like AFF pretty quick drop him.

You can try what I did to Pastor Steve.

What I did was pretend to be a university professor and say that he had a student in his care who I was going to sponsor for a scholarship. I said I had the money for her expenses all ready and several details worked out, I just needed the details in order to make the payment.

If he doesn't reply, he might be innocent, or might be wary.
If he replies and says you sent the message by mistake or he doesn't know what you're talking about, the same applies.
If he does reply and tell you how to make the payment, he is a confirmed scambucket.

Lots of good advice already posted. It looks like a beggar, not a lad. You can test him but if he's not offering riches in return for fees, he's a beggar and you should simply drop him. We don't mess with beggars.

What if it is a lad with a clever new format? I see one sentence formats all the time reply then you get the real deal. I think some lads try formats besides the typical ones we see to test the waters and try to not make it look like a typical scam.

Like I said in my previous post I smell a begger but there is no way to know until you reply. If there is no evidence of AFF then drop him like he's hot.

Could always test him with an ASEM from another account/baiter name.

You might could test with an ASEM but it might be a waste of your time.

I tried that once and the beggar now has my email address from the account I used and still writes to me begging money. In other words, the old ASEM-from-another-account trick just kept him continuing to write begging money.

There are plenty of other fish in Surplus Letters, catcher accounts and http://www.419baiter.com/_scam_emails/scammer-email-addresses.html than to test to see if he/she is a beggar or another baiter.
