Had no t.v. back then. People made their own fun. Now we just see the weird crap on t.v. No skeletons now but zombies and vampires.

@N.O.R.A Some of the Wal-Mart pictures are representative of what we see here. Since our State is the No. 1 state in the US with the heaviest people, we see more of those pouring out of their clothes.....and some are very scanty clothes! :yikes:

I liked the little girl holding the stars and strips and the gun. That sums up America to me in one picture.

As a side note when I visit my family in East Texas I could fill a couple pages on the people of Walmart site within a 10 minute stop at the local Wally World.

No offense to my fellow Texas baiters but you know it's true.

So there must be also many people lurking at Wal-Mart with their cameras and taking pics. The American way of life sounds and looks interesting... Confused

^^^ Yes, they lurk about with their camera/phones and also take pictures of your credit/debit cards if you are not careful. Then they go back and make fake credit/debit cards and sell them for $15-25 each and then loot your bank accounts. LE says this is a massive problem. We know about this first hand when an account was minus $30K!! And working with the credit union and Secret Service we discovered the offenders used all the money at Wal-Mart. (Yes, we got it all back - thanks to the Secret Service. They not only guard the President but their initial duty before guarding our officials was to investigate money fraud issues).

Another thing these criminals do, esp at Wal-Mart, where the gift cards are out where everyone has access to them, is they use hand-held scanners of some time and scan the info and purchase stuff.............then when you purchase the gift card, there are no funds left on it. LE says when buying gift cards we need to have the cashier scan to make sure the proper amount is still on the cards.

Wally World is full of criminals and "uniquely" dressed people.

Careful what you say about multi million dollar corporations, they have expensive lawyers.

There are certainly some weird photos there, but this was in an age when Coca Cola contained real cocaine, and the 'up' in Seven Up was lithium citrate, used in in the psychiatric treatment of manic states. It may explain a lot.

I'll admit that I actually worked at WalMart some years ago between jobs. The employees can be just as scary as the customers. Shocked

I did have a few customers that always sought me out -- elderly people, early in the morning, and they knew I'd always be polite and listen to them. They always made me smile bigger than when I first smiled at them. But come afternoon when the herds milled about, I wanted to take a stick to them all. Mad
