Well two reasons, the first coming back to ethics, (everybody loves ethics) and although Im really not fazed about injuries to Lads, our friend Jerry has done more for the endumbification of the western population than anyone else. I really dont know if using him in a bait would sit with me... Wink

And second I have been to Eater U and I am sticking to straight baiting while avoiding illusions of granduer.

Back to the original question.

In the Colt Severs bait we got video of a lad injuring himself several times.
Shorty beat up Stanley (or it might have been Dan) and numerous others have been hurt both financially and physically. I'd go for the second one any time over the first, by destroying his standing amongst the 419 community you are (I think) having a greater effect than a short term physical injury. Going from rich hero to goat might to have a much greater effect on him.

Edit to add, if you get them stredded, that's not too bad either.

Precious wrote to me again, (search for oluwaseun precious) for an example of a lad hurt in so many ways.

@Knackers - It is extremely rare when a baiter can have a lad who gets himself into such serious trouble where he might die, and the baiter has the option of changing the situation by the use of an email or phonecall, these being the weapons we use. In my first safari with Rumbero and Dr Stephen Williams Joe got himself in a bad situation in Niger. He told us he was having severe nosebleeds that would not stop, and he felt very weak. We knew he wasn't lying. I knew that he was suffering from extreme dehydration, and would die or be hospitalized if he was lucky enough to be able to be treated in the small hospital in Tahoua. If we told him to drink 2 gallons of water and drink at least a gallon and a half a day, he would live. If we held back and didn't tell him, we were sure he was too stupid to do this, and had a good chance of dying the next day or so. We chose to tell him. We did not want to pull the trigger on him... He later sent for another lad back home to come and join him to rob and/or kill us. I was a bit shocked by that! Would I save him again, had I known he would do something like that? I probably would. But, I did make him suffer for that, for two more months on the road.

I have zero sympathy for ANY criminals who are hurt or killed while attempting to commit crimes. This is a risk they must assume.

You can bet your bottom dollar that if the lad knew that YOU (the general "you") were lying dead somewhere as the result of a scam, he would have not a twinge of guilt, and would probably just be P.O'd that his cash source dried up, IMO.

I would have no problem whatsoever encouraging lads to do actions if I knew they would result in their deaths. These people aren't even humans. They are the lowest forms of life. Lower than parasites.

Would I kill them with my own hands? No. But, if they are so stupid that they would actually walk into death's open mouth at the possibility to rob and murder for money, then they deserve to die.

I personally cannot understand the problems people have with this.

Of course, this doesn't mean that I ever try to get my lads hurt (or killed). But if I was in the situation to do so, I would. The world would be a better place with fewer 419 scammers.
