Crayfish are the Lions of the muddy streams here in the UK. Not very popular here either. Apparently we've been invaded by a European species that's taken over and leaves nothing for local species .... hmmm ... why does that seem awfully familiar.
And on the Saint Leaf .. it would be a shame if it were 'bay leaf' as I was imagining going on a Quest for the 'Holy Saint Leaf' .. just packing my bergen, helm and longsword .. For England and Saint George!!! |

Here is some interesting "inside information from Sleepless" about pepper soup. It seems that it is a big insult to a lad to tell him that he or his family works in a "pepper soup joint." They are so hung up on job status in Nigeria, regardless of how great the pepper soup really tastes. So, next time you want to insult a lad in the mass insult thread or on the phone, give that a try. You are sure to increase the lad's blood pressure!  |
