My lad asked me to arrange a WU payment of $145 for collection at
Alaba International Market Ojo Lagos.....
but my stupid secretary arranged collection at Calabar instead of Alaba.
And the lady at the WU office said that due to corruption and crime in the area, they can't forward the payment to the Alaba office.
He must collect in person from Calabar.
That's a shame.
I can feel a safari coming on....... |

The problem is that lads do not have to travel to confirm a WU payment. They can verify a payment online.
Moneygram, however, does require one go to an office to check the status of a payment. |

You made the receipt online and mistyped the amount as $1455. You can't correct it for another 24 hours or after receiving a signed statement from the receiver verifying that $145 is the correct amount. Thus he has 24 hours to get himself to Calabar and collect the payment. Except... (take it from there) |
