I don't know if there are other baiters wondering why they can't get a gmail account but only a googlemail without IP stripping.

But when you go to https://mail.google.com/ via a free proxy server with .com (I tried .org which gave me only googlemail and two .com and both worked)
you can click on create an account to you will see gmail!

And I checked: your IP is in the middle of the USA.

Googlemail does NOT give away your IP. I tried to test it myself. Here's the header:

If my IP's there, I must've missed it.
I read somewhere that Gmail is called Googlemail in certain countries (among them is Germany), since Gmail was already a registered tradmark there back in 2004, when Google launched the service. Wink

tonight I switched to Thunderbird with all my baiting stuff and I had to realize not Googlemail was giving away my IP... it was Outlook banghead

but nevertheless I always wanted a gmail-account...
