I heard her broadcast on BBC radio earlier today. She said that she and the scammer were e-mailing every day and spent hours on MSN Chat.
It was more than a month before he asked for money.
Apparently her story will be on BBC Inside Out (South) tonight and BBCiPlayer later. |

I usually get a perverse enjoyment from reading the comments from the small minded idiots who have nothing better to do than rush to judgment about anything that appears in the Daily Mail, be it slagging off a celebrity in a swimsuit, or just ranting about immigrants in general, but when I read the comments for that article, they made me crosser than ever. |

I tend to read the DM online, and the comments sometimes drive me to distraction - I mean who cares who Jordan is sha****g today? 
On the victims story:
I couldn't help but notice that of the 100+ comments nearly all were derogatory towards the vic - none mentioned the fact that the scammer would have been all too aware of her finanacial situation and that there were young children who could be affected and yet the scammer pressed on regardless.
I'm spitting tacks over this... |
