Hi,
Does anyone know if a MG payment is sent to the incorrect destination can the recipient still collect it or trace it in some way? I'm thinking of using this excuse since the more the lad thinks you really are sending money, the further you can push him, it also makes for a possible safari. I just don't want to screw up my current bait because I'm on the verge of a safari and if I get this wrong my bait will probably fall apart.
What about if you loose the reference number? Can the scammer still do searches based on name etc?

Oh you are clumsy mixing up those money gram digits... Now where did you put the original receipt? Better find it pronto or the poor lad will be back and forth to the money gram office to check each time.
Actually I don't know if you can find much out without an mtcn, but without an mtcn and without the secret question and answer, very little I imagine. Safari scoring is a big play, it usually takesa lot of grooming, but if you want to try getting your scammer to go to other countries, the WIMP modality is rather powerful and is a variation on what you've been thinking already! |
