Anyone know anything about scams on Facebook? Some stranger (an attractive young woman) wants to be my friend, which is strange since my facebook page does not use my real name or even have my photo or much information. I suspect this is bogus and some bozos want an outlet for spam or ID theft phishing.

Yeah, I get a few of those everyday. Ignore them and they'll go away, although someone else will probably write you.

In my experience, more of those turn into camgirls than anything else. If you accept the friend request, next will come the "I did XXX on cam--click on the link to see" posts. Of course those will lead you to some porn site that will cost money.
