this is my first post ever and i want to get in on this scambaiting thing as my friend got conned by one of these guys and also it looks fun to think of ways of screwing these people over

Please, someone if you can can you assist me in scambaiting, i know what to do and stuff the problem i have is that they never respond to my emails and if they do its either to say they dont want to deal anymore or something useless maybe im doing somehting wrong because i get hundreds of emails a day i reply to like 75. and i never get a reply. so please help me out here

First off, have you set up an email account to use for baiting that has no RL (real life) about you? If not set such an account up. Many of us like Gmail the best.

And keep asking questions.

No replies at all? How long do you wait? A mentor can usually get you pointed in the right direction.

BTW don’t reply from you own (real) email account, just a reminder.

The only thing I can figure is something is tipping them off you’re a baiter. I have given bad replies like replying “remove me”, “bob get back to work”, “I am so excited. I want to dry hump your leg.”

These replies get fewer responses, still they respond. Its probably something small your doing.

Something to also remind newbies about is a mugu usually has multiple email accounts and formats so. create a character with constants, friends, family, etc. Also another personal rule of mind is when I “respond” to their emails I use no more than 3 sentences and I don’t cut and past responses. An example is. If they ask for a passport. A good response would be. “I don’t know you and you want to barrow my car?”

Bait safely, read everything in stickies and Eater U.

That said:

Have one character live at each email address. It'll save lots of confusion.

Respond at least 24 hours after a message. Sometimes you can cut it quick and have a flurry of responses, but only if you're setting the lad up for a payday and then go silent for awhile.

Ask yourself "how do I avoid giving him this document now, if ever?" rather than "how do I fake this document he wants?"

Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line.
