I learned to bait by reading baits published by those who had done it all before - and published their baits.

I have a few baits from long ago, published in web space provided gratis by another member here, and I tried to get a few people interested in reading the baits I had so painstakingly formatted and posted in there.

It is a large mess of text, and the sheer volume discourages people from reading it. A determined baiter, starting out on a career of baiting, and wishing to grab a few pointers might expend the necessary effort to sit down and read it all, but I cannot think anybody else would do it. The same way that I would rapidly skim through the baits published by another, only looking at the silly pictures they managed to extract and the pain they managed to inflict.

There is a trap in the obvious solution of just posting the interesting bits. An actual bait is fairly long and boring for the most part, exchanging mails just to make the lad get involved and used to reading your language so that later when the demands are made he just doesn't drop it all and walk away. It all needs to be there, each and every mail, otherwise fresh recruits would think that a few sparse mails are all that it takes and get disappointed when their lads turn out to be less than cooperative.

So, I'm publishing my baits again. In digest form. Just the salient portions.

Read it. Critique it. And maybe imitate it (if you dare ...)

Thanks for the baits!

I'm definitely going to read all of your baits, embarrassing mess of text or no.

Henry Kissinger taught us that it is foolish to ignore the boring.

Perhaps it is the failed baits which have the potential to teach us more ...

Thanks for posting. Reading other baits is what got me into baiting. I do remember first starting with much higher expectations after a just a few email exchanges that lads would be thrilled to dress up like clowns. I read several baits with the initial "hooking" taken out and it looked so easy. All the boring stuff is important to show even if you don't read it word for word at least to see what all it takes to get from point A to point B.

One of these days I will actualy publish a bait Embarassed

Reading others' fascinating, wild, whacky baits is fun; however, I think it is the plugging away (boring) baits are the thing that keeps scammers busy so they are not harming victims.

I currently have about 20 investment lads I am baiting, plus maybe 10 other types. Basically they are "boring" but IMHO think they are important so others are not harmed mentally and financially. I would gladly bait 100 investment lads if it meant that not one victim is harmed.
