Hello everyone,

The Pirate Bay is a site where you can share files with your peers. Because of this, they have frequent arguments with copyright holders, which they have turned into a sort of baiting Very Happy

The link below shows some of the e-mail exchanges made between the site staff and various angry companies. They're not so much different from us Smile

I seem to recall that the piratebay guys got pwned by the Swedish courts. Their witty replies to RIAA/Microsoft etc probably don't seem so funny now! Very Happy

^^^They were all arrested in Sweden of course. I remember reading this 2 months ago on Aftonbladet.

And yet the site is still up and running. And making loads of money in the process.
Yes they lost in the court but the site have yet to be given a decisive blow.

PF is actually on to something there. Having spent a great deal of time in both those countries i can see the resemblance.
And even though PF meant it as an insult i don't take it that way as i know both Sweden and Canada rocks. Especially compared to the US and England (the US of Europe).

Good question, I don't know. At first i thought all of the UK but then i realized that that included the Scottish which are more awesome. So I'll have to settle with only England.

@ Vampiremerchant: If you by Right mean right then i agree. I've been to Kenya where they drove on the Wrong side of the road. And by Wrong i don't mean Right but instead left as the opposite of wrong. So the didn't drive on the right side. And i tell you that was scary as hell. Understand?

To those who are not American, you may not be surprised to find that we consider all of the rest of the world to be Over There.

There is even a song about this.

At his very best, an American can recognize good qualities in other nations. These good qualities are inevitably and intimately entwined with alcohol, women, and cuisine. Supposed bad qualities may involve anything from obscure medieval conflicts to "they eat lutefisk," or "they eat too much waffles."

I say this because as an American I must stand up for our peculiar view of the world. No one has ever, with the possible exception of Admiral He-era China, been so good at viewing themselves as the center of the world. We may not understand that London is a city, but we damn well misunderstand this relationship better than anyone else.
