Do any of you have an computer science/programming knowledge? Have you ever used that knowledge to hack in a lad's account(s) and mess them up, set up transfers, etc?
My first question is, "is it ethical to pursue?", because I've been interested in trying this out. I'm sure there are rules against this here on this very forum. I just want to know if it's possible, and if it's something that's allowed. Not sure if it's quite legal though. Also the lads probably use computers in internet cafes, which would mean trouble for the cafe itself too. Maybe the lad will be forever banned.
Any comments, suggestions, stories?
Again, just hypothetical, and wanting to know if it's something worth pursuing.   |

Hacking is against the rules, and you can get banned for discussing it.
However, baiting is an application of social engineering. So I would imagine the mods would allow discussion of baiting in hackish social engineering terms.
Look at what people have gotten lads to do with nothing more than a few phone calls and a free website or two. Then ask yourself if committing a crime is really more effective. |
