people who know me, know I was a student until recently. Anyway, the marks are in and I'm the 1st to admit I struggled with a lot of the subjects.
So I got ONE High Distinction, for e-business. I spoke to the lecturer and he stressed that he really wanted the class to think outside the box and that he was going to just give me a distinction (Which I would have been MORE than happy with).
And just what got me my high distinction??? He found out I was a scambaiter!!!!! so thanks guys, you helped me get good marks in my course!

When you actually think about it, e-business, if you have no knowledge of scams,
you are going to get taken,
I would have given you a High Distinction, plus the class award and whatever other acclaim was available
How many times do we see businesses targeted with scams that they fall for?

You could point out that even sophisticated bankers and businesspeople have fallen for 419 scams.

In the seventies, I saw my first 419 scam come in via telex.
I pointed it out ( I was only twelve) and was told that it was a scam.
It has intrigued me ever since.
My business partner got all excited at one of these only four years ago and I had to point him in the right direction. I still do!
We now get loads of spam. 
Your lecturer realises that common sense and life experience (as well as education) make a business mind. |

@ Gordon bennett: not that I know of, but the man is quite insane! It's what made his classes so much fun!
When I first discovered the forum, I was temping at a Place called the Productivity Comission. The place is quite restrictive about what you can and can't access on the web. The forum is one you can access. there is a camera by the reception desk, which has about six months footage of me pissing myself laughing!
