Pantomime Season is with us again.

That is where the principal characters are not what they seem, for instance,

Principal boy/girl, Main character in panto, traditionally played by young girl in male attire.
Panto Dame, Normally the hero’s mother, Tradition played by middle aged man in drag.
Co-Principal boy/girl, normally the hero’s love interest, played by a woman.
Comic Lead does physical comedy, played by a man.
Villain, The pantomime’s antagonist, Wicked Wizard or Witch, man or woman.
Good fairy, Helps the hero, played by a women or a man in drag.
Pantomime horse or cow or another animal.
Chorus, singing and acting parts.

There was only one Treasure Island pantomime in the country, so our part-time admin has the part of Long John Silver and also Captain Hook in Peter Pan, methinks.
