I apologize if this has been discussed in another topic, but didn't find it with a basic search....

Have been too busy to play with the lads much lately, but decided to check my baiting account and had 100s of standard "next of kin", "need a loan", "lottery" scams, but this one caught my eye as being a bit creative...

with the Nigeria scammers.

Western Union as we have been given the mandate to transfer your full

I have on a good authority email you the MTCN and sender's details to
enable you pick up the first $10,000.00,USD and confirm receipt to us so
as to enable us wire the next USD10,000.00 by tomorrow and subsequent ones
since we can only send USD10,000.00 a day.

Please pick up this information and get to any western union in your
country to pick up the $10,000.00 and email the Western Union outlets
incharge of the payment so that they could send you another payment
tomorrow.

Call or Email them once you picked up the $10,000.00 today, if there is

I'm tempted to just send a return e-mail saying "OMG I can't believe it was true! I just went to WU and they gave me $9,872.34 cash. I just bought a large screen TV and about a year's supply of Twinkies and Snuggies, Bless you Paul Ben! Although I don't feel quite right about it since it was only one scam e-mail I received. Please let me know if you have a favorite charity, I'd like to send them $5K"

Don't have a lot of time, but any thoughts of how to jerk this guy along would be appreciated.

Sure is nice of them to set you up a non-existant transfer (checked it just like they do). Of course, as a greedy mugu, you will email that the transfer was not there or picked up! Then the scam will start. I wonder how much to re-send or demurrage, etc. fees there will be. I believe it is called a "payday" scam because it looks to the victim like they have a "payday" coming.

Hey, I am up to my neck in orphans needing immediate assistance for their education! Nto to mention recovering money from the Ghanan Gov't that was lost to scammers, dating several Moldavian women, and really working hard to get a lad to visit me when I travel to Western Africa in a few weeks.

Then there's you, sitting at home playing lotto. Laughing
