Hi all--
I've been thoroughly amused by the idea of baiting for several years, and I recently spontaneously decided to join up. I'm not to the point yet of planning to take on a scammer myself, but spending the evening reading about everyone else's creative exploits is a great way to relax. Maybe someday I will have the time to jump in  |

Although i'm technically not new here , i didn't feel worthy enough to make a new thread to announce my return. I don't think many people will remember me (maybe corona or jayhawk or something).
When i started , someone told me to watch out, because once you start, ...
I had to stop scambaiting at the start of this year , due to having to spend more time on my graduation , thesis and internship. But now that the days are getting colder and darker , i felt the need to return behind my pc and find the love and money of so many friendly scammers. |

Another prodigal son returning here. I've had to step back from baiting for a few years due to family commitments but now I have more time to get back baiting. I have a few catcher and baiter accounts which are still active. Pretty much all of the lad accounts that i used to bait are dead, though there are LOADS of new ones 
I've already started one bait that is showing some promise, so hopefully that will go some distance (literally).
Just thought i'd drop by and say hello again

Hey everyone, I'm Vecky. I found this site via a Cracked article, and I love the idea of doing this (it actually sounds quite fun!). I can't claim to have any experience with baiting, and not a huge amount with forums, so you'll excuse me if I do something a newb would do here. But I'm happy to help out and save others the trouble, and this looks like a nice community, so I'm happy to help out! |

I think i've read the article on Cracked a while ago (something along the lines of making people do stupid stuff and posting pictures of it).
The best way to start out is signing up for a mentor and reading the stickys in Eater university. And feel free to ask any questions , we were all new at some point (Although , i have heard rumours that some of the people here crawled from the womb armed with excuses, carrying some forms and started baiting right away. ) |

Thanks, but I think I'd rather get my bearings here by myself. I'm pretty independent, and I'll probably pick up enough info soon enough, so I don't need to waste anyone's time for it. But it's good to know there's always peoplewilling to help in case I get stuck! |

New to the movement and have a little time on my hands, would be thrilled to get them dirty with a little help!
I've already engaged in some hilarious trolling on dating sites and find it very easy to engage the vlads, I'd like to start messing with them and perhaps move on to something more substantial and creative. I currently have 4 dating scammers to practice upon.
I'm taking precautions with regards to security and privacy, so much to learn and so little time!

I just want to say hello as I'm new here and thank you for such a fantastic site. I stumbled upon it after recieving an email last night which I thought was amusing and clearly a scam so I searched a bit online to see if I could find out more about email scams in general. My search brought me here and I enjoyed hours of reading through the letter and picture archives.
I'm not quite up to my own scam baiting yet but after everything I've seen I just had to take the time to post saying that your efforts are enjoyed and appreciated. I hope eventually I'll be able to try my hand at it as well, one thing's certain, I'll enjoy researching techniques. |

Relatively new to this site, but not new to the game. I've spent the better half of 3 years either intercepting e-mails, cracking e-mail accounts and seizing information, or helping others resist the temptation of the scam. I guess I should introduce myself properly. I've decided to start up baiting after my housemate, who is already a baiter (rocknrollnobody) got me interested in it. I ended up playing around with the idea, and was the 'hitbadger' that Gaz informs me everyone enjoyed.
I'm glad you all liked my 'intro' to baiting, even if I didn't really know what I was doing!

Hi all,
I've been baiting for a month or so. Originally at the request of another forum I am a member of I replied to a scam email out of curiosity. It generated so much amusement, for myself and the forum, that I ended up with about half a dozen going on, at the same time!
I have compiled them so far on a "blog" for now (I wasn't sure if I was allowed to put a link - anyone wants to have a look and give me some pointers, PM me). A couple are sort of still going on, but I'm not sure where to go with them. I made some mistakes along the way which I hope to work past.
I'd be looking for a "light-touch" mentor just to pass on some experience and tips from the front line, in context.
