As much as this pains me to say it, I want to see a lad 5 ball juggling.
As a juggler, it hurts me deeply to associate myself with clowns 
The total time taken to learn will be about 24 hours overall, maybe more, depending on how often he practises.
Could be a good time waster.
Possibly take the humanitarian route, and get them teaching circus skills to kids? |

Hey, bravo... maybe your clown lads need to pass some kind of final exam like having to make 5 balloon dogs and applying their face paint in under two minutes. Video evidence required, of course.
