At the moment I've got a net book and iPad but would like something that isneasier to type on and which I can run Photoshop on.
I thug about building s pc but a really cheap one can anyone recommend some cheap components from buyer? |

Don't run photoshop - use GIMP (free and less of a resource hog).

I went to alienware.com, maxed everything out and hit buy. A few members found this unsettling.
I use photoshop CS5. I've not noticed it hog my resources however I don't pay much attention to that. |

This is with photoshop running
The only change I see when I turn PS off is the memory usage goes down to 2.41GB.
My son has an iPhone 4. |

Toodles, I'm so sorry. Ever since I went on a PWT sabbatical, I forget to pop in to this forum. It seems my carelessness has allowed Ghort to arrive in your thread without the proper cautionary disclaimers.
I have used everything from kick-ass public library computers to laptops to my blackberry for baiting.
Oh, and I use GIMP on my laptop. I don't know about the resource thing, but for sure the price is a lot different. |

I don't see why you'd need a separate computer for baiting at all. Bankster uses a VM and I think even that's overkill. You can get by just fine by baiting from your usual box.
Unless you're just looking for an excuse to justify building a new computer? |

Fellow Utahn and Sheep: GIMP is sucky watered down of PhotoShop that happens to be free. It can't do the awesome things PhotoShop can.
