drop.io file sharing service to close

Here's some important news for any baiters who use the drop.io file sharing service for publishing their baiting audio and video files. The service will be closing on December 15 and they're going to delete all user data and content.

The Drop.io blog posted a message yesterday which included the following statement:

The drop.io service will be closing on Dec. 15. Until then, people will be able to use existing drops they’ve created, but won’t be able to create new drops. After Dec. 15, drop.io will be closing and all user data and content will be deleted, so please download files you have stored on the service before then.

Facebook have bought them out, there's a Cnet news article about it here here. What a shame, as this was a great service and what a pity they find it necessary to delete all the existing content.
