This car will be familiar to quite a few of my lads, I have given it away many times, and got lads to travel thousands of miles to pick it up, as its never been near where they are.
James Bond's Aston Martin DB5, with all the gadgets including .303 machine guns, ejector seat, bulletproof shield etc, also had satnav and a telephone, unheard of in 1964! It is probably the most famous car in the world, though there were 2 film cars, as well as promotional replicas built later.
The original gadget car was stolen some years ago, never to be seen again. A huge insurance payout was made.
The 'road car', hardly used in Goldfinger because it's gearbox broke, was later tricked out with the gadgets for Thunderball, and sold to Jerry Lee, of Philadelphia, for $12,000. Probably a good invesment, despite the car being mechanically knackered, it expected to be sold at auction in London tommorow for $5 million.

The news story I saw about it said everything was functional. I imagine the .303s are non firing? Perhaps upgraded by an enthusiast otherwise!? Good ol' enfield round |

The ejector seat does not work but the bullet proof screen and revolving number plate still work.
