I have set up a simple website to add an element of credibility to my art baits. Do you think the lads will go for it?

I have a lad on the hook now. He's started filling in the numerous application forms and employment contracts that I've sent him but wants me to prove that I am 'real' before he starts making the sample artwork (a ten inch tall sportsbike carved from wood Laughing).

Should I give him the web address? It is registered in my character's name.

My baiting website

Thanks. Smile

I think this is a very bad idea. There exist a - as I can see - seroius domain with almost the same name just "work" instead of "works". No need to mees up what that site.

Really well made web-site......................... Thumbs up

I do not see any reason not to give him a link to that,

Could you prehaps make it 2008 - 2010, rather than just 2010, it might make laddo feel a wee bit more secure.......... Laughing

Thank you for your input.

I don't really see how it would affect that other site. Unless they have Nigerian scam-artists amongst their clientèle. Confused

I was looking for advice on whether the website is likely to be believed by the lad.

as said^
one remark David Fellows - Managing Director picture appears 7 times in TinEye

Change the name or not and you're good
If you pick "or not" refer to their site in your links and send them an email to explain what you're doing there. (you still have to change the name then)

Happy Hunting

I'm normally way too lazy to explain this. But if you edit the link like this below into your post it'll save us having to type in the url and make you look way cool. Very Happy

Just paste and copy the code in, instead of the image.

Code:
[url=http://www.africanartworks.co.uk/]My baiting website[/url]

Your site looks very well done.

One of my previous sites was named similar to a real site and I did have a few legit inquiries but as long as you inform them they are looking for a different site you should be fine.

Good luck getting some nice artwork crafted by the lads for you!
