I believe 3 goats are still in transit. With Last Monday being a holiday here in the U.S - I would imagine that they should be delivered shortly.

Offended? Pretty touchy, those Danish cats eh? Maybe you should try it. My red bastard starts purring when I call him 'monster'. But he also knows I'll kick his nuts (hypothetically) if he put one foot on the goat. Wink

I was getting worried that my goat had gotten lost in the mail (as Rover can attest to based on my panic stricken PM to him the other day)...what the hell, USPS, a goat arrives in Denmark before mine arrives here. But, it's here now. I'm going to take pictures later, my whole downstairs is full of smoke because my oven needs to be cleaned and food was burning, and I don't want my goat to smell like smoke.

Goat number 11, or Gemma as I've named her, has arrived safe and sound in the UK jump_4_joy

Gemma is munching away enjoying a pre-hibernation nosh Laughing

Goat number 8 landed this morning!
I don´t have any sort of photographic devise.
However, there's a young, up to date family recently moved into the building.
At a strategic moment I'll ask the yummy mummy if she'd like to photograph my goat so I can send the photo to a 'special' forum I belong to.

I just went through the thread - The only goat, not explicitly accounted for, is goat #4. Has anyone got a status on that one Rolling Eyes

Just before I unsticky (Is there such a word... I doubt it but anyway)...Just before I unsticky this thread. I wanted to take some time out to thank all of you for your participation in this fund raising project.

A special thanks goes out to Mrs Cuervo for making all the quilts and to the winners of the silent auctions. Thank you your donations were much needed and appreciated.

Oops, and I almost forgot. To the U.S.P.S, the only organization I know of that can deliver a package door to door to Denmark, faster than it can deliver the same package in the U.S.A. The mind boggles on how they managed to get that right.

My goat was actually shipped (according to the stamp) on Saturday, Oct. 9'th and was "attempted delivered" Saturday, Oct. 16'th - Including a tour through customs. I was looking forward to see what they would make of it. But, They didn't even care to open it Shocked

I believe a goat made it to Holland earlier than mine Wink
