The Lad who swallowed the book on motivational aphorisns - http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=191787 - is not a happy man now that Captain Mal has promised payday and failed to deliver.

I told him that I had to fly to Sydney to make the payment as Alice Springs doesn't have MG and the local WU was proving balky.

Then on Saturday I wrote:
