I need a free and anonymous phone number. I have been looking into Google Voice, it's free and has all sorts of features. Has any one used this service? Is it truly anonymous? I could find nothing about its security or anonymity. I am real close to scoring the ultimate trophy ( to be posted here later). I have not been asked for a number as of yet, but keeping bases covered is always a good idea. |

I use it all the time. It is great. It is cheaper calling Nigeria and Ghana than Skype is. Just beware, the feature that lets you record your call makes an announcement that the call is being recorded. That announcement can be heard on both ends.
Didn't know that until a lad called me out on it. |

That's good to know. I was not planning to call out, just wait for them to call in. I wonder if I will be charged for incoming international calls. Time to call ATT.

I have my google voice set up to forward the calls to my VoxOX number, and I record from that using Audacity when I start talking to the lad. That's one way to get around that damn recording notification. |

I have never had lads freak out about the robot lady telling them they are being recorded.
My fake Hawaiian questioned me 3 or 4 times about it, but I just dazzled him with the sweet as honey timbre of my voice and he forgot what he was asking. |
