Hi Everyone,
Have had my first successfull bait that is still going. - Got my first 2 piggies from this guy too. (& sent off).
I'm hopeless with the techo stuff & can't find the info page where you get the header info to check where the scamer is? Can anyone direct me with a link? Just need to confirm where my boy is.
Thanks again to everyone for all the help & support. Especially Chuda who has been a wealth of info & very patient.
Anyway thanks again & any help would be great.

Forgot to say I'm using a G-mail account - if that makes any difference?
All I have is his email address. Can't work out how to get the header info?

Once you have the info go here

http://headertool.apelord.com/

Copy and paste the info then click Check Headers

Regarding the headers.
In GMail when you see the email, there's in top right corner little arrow pointing down along with word 'Reply'. Click that arrow and click 'Show original' (in case you're using english GMail, you will have to find the proper link yourself if you use different language Smile

)

Once you get the original - aka the header - you can copypaste it either here - http://headertool.apelord.com/ or here - www.iptrackeronline.com there might be other sites, but I recommend those.

Be aware that it's not 100% accurate. Sometimes it shows me completely different country. But that's rare Smile

Also, if the lad uses GMail or some service that does strip & hide your IP it doesnt work. But most of email providers dont hide IP address.

So either way he isn't in Perth Aus as he claims?

Says 98.136.183.134 is in Australia (Brisbane) and 41.204.67.147 is in Cameroon (Linde).

Clair - the Brisbane ip might be me? I think the Cameroon location would be right.
He now believes he is selling to the head of an Aussie drug cartel so we'll see if he squirms. I want to do a pick up with him in Perth (where he claims to be) but I'm sure he will have urgently depart for os business when that time comes. Maybe my 3rd piggy?
