Does anyone know any way possible to make it so that when I make a phone call, the number that comes up is a Ghana/Nigeria number? That would make life so much easier when you want to pretend to be a lad... |

I have it blocked for security reasons 
If it was easy to do so, the lads would be doing it too!
Plus I'm not going to make any special effort for any lad, plenty of them to pick an easy one if the phone might give problems.
And lads are everywhere, so why not in your town? |

If you're sufficiently successful, you were on a trip to the US and picked up a cell phone there so it still has a US number on it.
I did find this but signup seems to be broken for me.

I suppose you could always just give them a real lad's number. At the very least, it would probably annoy them a bit. |

Not Nigeria, but didww.com once sold me a South African VoIP number. They use SIP so it should work with most VoIP software. I don't remember what it cost. |

It costs quite a bit of cash, though.
You could always tell the lad it is a satellite phone, and because of the service you have, it either gives no caller id or gives one from your other country's number. As soon as he can be "trusted," you might give him the direct number, but not until he proves himself loyal to you! Or, you never give out the number to anyone unless they prove extremely loyal to the death, even members of your own group. You call them. They are not allowed to call you. If he doesn't like it, too damn bad. There are always plenty of other guyman trying to work with you.
Don't ever forget when working with lads: You are the boss, not them!  |

If you have a VoxOx number you can "spoof" the number that appears when your lad picks up. But if he calls back, you're screwed (i.e., it would be a fake number and he can't call you back).
But VoxOx gives you the ability to spoof caller ID. |
