I am new here and also new to baiting. Had a few ?s I did read through most of the advice on the site btw. Can you tell me how my first ever reply to a scam was? here is the email I was sent.

died. Which really hurts because we both saved up for our

Did I come on to strong? Maybe some advice from more seasoned members. Seems like this scammer is gonna send some pics of some sexy girl? seems like thats where this is going but i;m not sure.

Hi dirty baiter!

You are on the right track. But, I will tell you that they will not read most of that. Ask one question per mail. Act as if you believe them and what questions would you be asking.

Hope they don't have your real life details. If they do, drop them and open up a fake account and start all over. Wink

no i i set up a hushmail acount just for this. whats up with the fonda cox guestbook? why would any scammer harvest emails from there? They can't be that dumb? or can they Wink

Yes they can!

Actually it is less about dumb and more about a different mindset. They will harvest emails anywhere they possibly can, and they don't look closely at where they are coming from, as they are trying to get large numbers and beat the competition to fresh magas! Many of them don't understand the whole concept of "baiter" because they don't understand how anyone would possibly do something like that if there is no money to be made.

Nothing wrong with it, but it would have been better to send it later in the bait. Many lads don't pay much attention to your first email, and a simple "I'm interested. Please tell me more" wastes his time expanding on his first email.

Your replies are way too long for the beginning of a bait, slow things down, he's not reading any of it.

Ask one line questions and get him off script.
