Hello all! I'm new here, but rather than just introducing myself, I thought I'd share what can only be described as a totally stupid piece of work by a scammer.

Like the tutorials say, I use gmail for my baiting activities. By default, gmail strips all images out of emails, and shows only the alt tag/alternative text. So a particularly-fancy looking email from a fake bank who's trying to take me for a "loan application fee" (and has been for two weeks now!) becomes much less effective when, instead of the header image, it starts with...

^ hopefully you didn't mention the above to him? obviously he is a person above reproach and you trust him fully? ( it's not right to educate the lad, such mistakes would alert your average person to the lad's scamming ways)

Thank you for your reply, you can rest assured that this "modality" (is that even a word?) has already been followed to the letter. He has already sent me some shockingly poor ID, but I'm going to hold back on posting it because I'm quite new to this and don't want to totally blow my first bait Razz

Lads use the word to mean 1,2. Baiters tend to gravitate toward 4, while making it look like 1 and 2. Physical therapy is important. Typing endless emails to us, filling and sending forms, answering never ending questions, traveling endless miles away from home with no bath. This also has a mental therapeutic value that should not be overlooked. Smile

NS4U - have a look in the photos forum, there is a thread for ID cards etc to be posted, if you have a trawl through you'll probably even come up with a previous posting of it.

A lot of lad stuff is recycled, one of the reasons for not sending a lad any ID, if you did, you'd see it later having been photoshopped to suit and sent out as their own proof of ID.

You will notice that baiters put 'fake' or something similar over it to stop this from happening when they post the stuff they get.
