Mrs Man and I enjoy a large slice of Roquefort (mmmmmmmmm) washed down on my part with a nice hoppy bitter ale. Even writing that has made me thirsty!

Saturday lunch often features bacon and brie baguettes- nice! Very Happy

For blues, Cabrales cheese from Asturias.
In spite of ETA, the Basque country's Idiazabal cheese is divine.

And then there´s real cheese:
Manchego.

Another niiiiice cheeese is Pecorino Peperoncino. made in southern Italy with a nice helping of chili flakes to accentuate the great flavour of pecorino.

Maine chesse is made by Maine people, for not only Maine people but people around the world who think American cheese is the only thing made in America.

Maine cheese is wicked awesome bub. Along with Allen's Coffee Brandy, Lobstah, and a rack of Pabst Blue Ribbon (though if ya wanna go fancy you can get that Geary's beer) I'm telling ya!!

Poutine is that stuff from Quebec, similar in many ways to Maine except they talk in a funny language!! Very Happy

We dress up the moose as cows so tourists think we are milking cows. Sometimes we do that to the lobstahs too!!

Changing the subject (but still on topic) please can someone explain the appeal of the veined cheeses like blue stilton? I know some people go mad for them, but to my mind if something is mouldy, it goes in the bin not your mouth! Plus the smell - ugh!

^^It's those "delicacies" where you can't imagine who in the right mind would want to eat that but then you find out that a lot of people like it.

Maine is plain. Seriously the cheese there is no more special then other "American" cheese because it's still fake not real cheese. It's processed. Laughing

But other than cheese I'm sure Maine is a great place to visit.
