3 weeks after I thought a consignment box bait had died a mail arrives asking me what's going on and why I haven't sent the money - they had got a little cheesed of with SS at that point and then just stopped writing.

I answered him leaving a way in for him but added

...and bugger me doesn't he send the bank details in the next mail (winging their way to Alan at this very moment).

I think the lesson I've learnt is to stop being frightened of losing the bait and just get on with it. Onward and upward. Smile

He missed you! I have one now that just dropped me after ss amd a few rounds in the vault. I plan on rebaiting from another account. I have a particular hated for this one and I will now be a little old lady that gets conffused easily. I see a few trips to mg in his future.

I've had a lad whose bank accounts were killed, whose web sites were killed, etc., and still came back to me.

I had one guy I rebaited four times and then he finally caught on. Sad

It must have been my writing style, even though I tried to change it. But I suppose I didn't change it enough.

I'm possibly going to get a piggy out of the blue too.

I just told a lad (in my second email to him) that I would have to speak to my advisor before doing a WU payment. I expected that he would come back to me and ask me not to speak to anybody.

Instead he basically said "speak to him, and if he advises against WU I will send you bank details instead".

My recent first piggy took quite a bit more work than that!

^^^ Nice one. Stops it getting boring not knowing how much work we need to do to get the account numbers Smile

It's nice to know they don't often see the link between giving out the account and it being closed. More fun for us I suppose.

You never know if a lad has access to an account that he can give you. You also never know how the lad will react to various approaches. Some things work with one lad, but not another. You are right, just pick the approach you think will work best on your lad, and don't worry about it. There is always rebaiting, or another lad. Smile

Sleepless and I just got one out of the blue, too. We called these lads up one night,
and I guess that giving us their bank account was less stressful to them than waiting
for us to get a Western Onion payment correct. Sleepless really had him frustrated on
that second call. Smile

The details came the next day. I did take a bit of a chance with
that silly email of mine, but they seemed ignorant enough. I would not try that on a smarter lad. It just felt "right" to me. After all, it is Gabby.
