Even the low end is over 12 years, much more than he would get in Nigeria.
Let's hope gets to spend that time in a real prison, not a cushy minimum-security facility.
I was a bit confused by this line in the sentencing letter, though:

Once more this case seems to prove that african LE (or what's supposed to pass for LE over there) is not in the least concerned with the scamming problems. Cynical note : they probably have their share in it too, considering everything is as corrupt as it can be over there ! |
