It is one of the many email addresses you can sign up for at www.mail.com
It is under the jobs section.
It's a freebie email site that allows you to pick an address that looks a bit more professional than having a Googlemail or Yahoo address

He mentioned he is in Uk right now and he calls me every evening.
But so far for one week, he has yet to ask for money or such. Just that I am aware of such scams around and everything is just too good to be true. |

Can you check the headers to see if he's really UK based - That could give some webcam potential |

I get the impression that Melodyrenee is not here to ask a question relating to baiting but just to inquire if we think that the details of the person she(?) is in contact with is a scammer. |

Hi Melodyrenee,
Chuda was thinking that if the scammer was really in the UK, then that would be of interest to baiters - maybe a baiter could get him to stand somewhere where he could filmed by a webcam, and we could look at him.
A baiter, of course, is someone who writes to a scammer from an anonymous email address, set up with a fake name and details, and wastes the scammer's time. This helps to keep him away from real victims.
Spot then reminded us that your question didn't seem to be about baiting, but about a real-life scam that you are being targeted by.
I see from your other thread:
http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=190632
that we've now discovered, however, that the scammer is not in the UK, but is writing from Malaysia. |
