I checked my characters email this morning. The last she mailed him she was supposed to go back to the bank and take the loan application back. He hasn't heard anything from her. Then I got this:

Gaylord must have 30-50 people baiting him, and EVERY PERSON has gmail. If the odds were even of each person having gmail, yahoo, or hotmail, the odds of 30 people all having gmail would be...

But lads don't know that. I assume that from their perspective, an overwhelming majority of people use Gmail accounts, because us baiters help to shape their perceptions of victims.

If he didn't have Gmail, I'd say use "Send mail as" another account, like Yahoo or Hotmail. Unfortunately, if you do that and send it to a Gmail account, it comes up as "Mailed-by: gmail.com Signed-by: gmail.com" even though under "from" it says [email protected] - however, the lad has to hit "Show Details" in order to see this. I say it isn't worth it to try when the sender has a gmail account. It does NOT, however, say anything about mailed-by and signed-by if the lad has any other mail service. Obviously, it's best to use gmail because it strips your IP, and if you "send mail as" another mail service, it still strips your IP (it actually comes up Mountain View, CA, Google's home). Fastmail also strips your IP, so maybe sprinkle a few Fastmail accounts in there.

That is how some of the experienced Scummers. (mis- spelling intentional)
have referred to us.

I use several different mail servers. I suspect a lot of scummers tend to burn out because of frustration and lack of finance to pay the cafes.
