Hello fellow scambaiters!!! My name is Heywoo Jablome, a beginner in scambaiting. I recently finished scambaiting my first scammer and I feel pretty good about it. I got this email from a scammer stating that I would be entitled to five million dollars if I helped her come to America to escape from her controlling uncle. I emailed her saying "I want that money, but how do I get it?" Then she emailed back and asked for my phone number, address and name ( all of them are fake ). Then she called me to get more information. Then she called again to inform me that her uncle is going to take my money if she doesn't transfer the money to my bank account. The next day she called again and requested my bank information. I decided to play dumb and tell her "how do I send you my bank information?" She talked about the process of sending her my bank information step by step, but then I hung up on her. I'm not sure how much money they have too pay for minutes, but that last phone call lasted 33 minutes. Then she called again and after 15 minutes, I hung up on her again. I finally emailed her my bank information because I thought she wasn't taking me serious. I told her that I sent the money via money gram to a office near her. She went to the office and obviously there was nothing there:) She sent me a email stating that I am lying and that she is going to find another recipient for that five million dollars. I told her that I would fly to Nigeria and meet her at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport. Of course she went to find me and I wasn't there;) She emailed me several threats and insulted my intelligence. I then insulted her mom and she didn't take too kindly to that. So of course I completely flamed her and she never responded.

I would like to know whether I did a good job or not. I would kindly appreciate it if you can give me some words of wisdom or any advice on how to perfect the art of scam baiting and how to perfect my grammar, spelling, etcetera in my post. Thank you and have a wondrous day!!!

Sounds like you're doing a great job wasting this scammer's time! Feel free to post the lad's threats and insults if there's anything funny, or you could also put it in your signature.
In the surplus section you can find many new lads to have fun with!

Yup, as long as that phone number doesn't link back to your real life in any way, you did a very nice job of wasting scammer time and money. Keep going and please stick around here Wink

Welcome to the nuthouse, SS. What you describe is pretty much how the game works. Lead the lad in circles, waste his time and money, frustrate and piss 'em off. Looks like a good job to me Very Happy

1) Dont flame them after its all ended.
2) Don't tell them you are a baiter, or link to this site (just for future reference)

Agreed with evil_sheep.

Always get the last email in, and alwyas act like you're really hurt that they're cutting you off. Make it sound as honest as possible.

That way, there's always that nagging doubt the the whole thing might have been real after all...

Apart from that, getting the lad to the airport was good work, and of course, the more times you can go backwards and forwards to the MG or WU office, the better.

Whoaa!!! I didn't think I would get so much replies! I always gave her fake information and I am using a burner ( cell phone for a short term use ) that I received from some relatives a long time ago. I was trying my best to get her to take a picture of her standing with a sign that read some rather nasty comments that she wouldn't notice, but it was to no avail. I would love to post the insults that both she and I made, but I don't want to break the rules in this website. Yup, those replies that I made to her were that bad! I will use all of your insight on my next victim and I thank you all for your replies.

SS, we LOVE insults around here, both those given (commonly referred to as a "slap") and those received. Check out people's siggy lines. A good ladblast is highly prized because then the baiter knows he has really pissed his lad off - and that, my friend, is a GOOD thing. So, please, post 'em up! Very Happy

In addition to posting in this thread, you can take the best parts and put them in your signature, just like many other members do.
As you can see from my signature, I haven't had real insults yet, but that's mostly due to my rather slow baiting pace and the fact that I only started baiting a few weeks ago.
