Hey guys, I'm a little worried because my lad is unable to open my scanned passport picture that I sent him. This is important to me because I really want to claim my consignment!
I sent him a 20mb, high quality, "It's Raining Men.flv" compressed to a Bzip2 file archived in a 7z file, archived in a rar file, with a JPG extension.
My lad says he is unable to open the file. Am I doing something wrong?! |

Only 20 mb. Thats your problem, to be able to open the file in that format it must be at least 37,5 mb. Sent a larger one and se if he can open it. |

Don't send too big of a file. Some email providers have size limits. I try to keep them about 15 megs just in case. |

Pfft. All you need is the converter program. It comes with Windows - to run it press Win+R, type 'winmine', and hit enter.
Then you go through this decoding process where you click the right little squares... |

I think the problem might be a virus on your lads computer - ask them to check if there's a file 'kernel32.dll' - it causes loads of problems, it was written by the Gom3rBoyz to chop jobs.
Yes, it is a core Windows file, but no, he physically can't delete it (so no ITP's will be hurt - Windows is self-healing for essential files) - so make him find a computer without kernel32.dll installed if he wants secure communication. |

Is there something wrong with my computer? I can't open the attached picture. I got a local PC support person to install linux over my windows even it was quite expensive just like you told to and compiled GIMP but still I can't open it. Maybe there is something wrong at your end? |

You're right about that. I did have a problem sending to him at first but, it was because his mailbox was full. he gave me a new address and I sent the same file.
Additionally, his "lawyer" sent me a form to fill out. The top half of the form was supposed to be filled out by the lawyer himself but he did not fill it out. I slapped him pretty hard for that. He resisted for a few emails but he later did fill out the form by hand, scanned it, and sent it to me. I sent "scanned" the form and sent it back to him. My scan consisted of a Dixie Chicks mp3 archived to a 7zip file with a jpg extension.
I hope he can read my signature...  |
