I'm now running a computer that is totally free of any MS products.
After much pacing the floor, I have opted for "Ubuntu" as an operating system.
I've been using Openoffice for a good while now and I use Chrome or FF for browsing.

I haven't had any problems yet and all my software is free. Very Happy

So, it's bye-bye Bill Gates.
Can't say that I'll miss you. Cool

Not bothered about VB. I can still dual boot but Wine looks interesting.
For what I do, I have had no need for a windows based program in six months.

I basically send a database back and forth every day with some text added.
Sometimes I edit pics and other times I edit text.
The rest is web based (including lads).

OpenOffice, Gimp and a decent browser do me.
But there's loads of other shit available that seems to work quite well. Very Happy
