I'm baiting a lad that's doing the ATM card scam, doing the western union scene to send the money (I'm using the MTCN Vault) Not an exciting bait, but I want to see how frustrated I can get him.
In one of my last mails to him I sent a phony phone number (818) 867-5309 (some people may recognize the phone number from the Tommy Tutone song Jenny 867-5309.) He says he needs a valid phone number. I am not sending my own personal number, but wondering what I can use. I told him to try again that it might be a problem at his end.
When it's all said and done I will post the entire report. Oh and some good news, I now have my wife joining in on the fun too. She just created a character for baiting and already has a scammer she's working on. |

You can set up a K7 account and give him the number to call. It records incoming phone calls and mails the audio files to your specified addy. |

You can set up a Skype account and use Ring2Skype.net to create a (real) phonenumber and forward it (for free) to your Skype. Hey, not your problem that they can't actually hear you.. must be a microphone-thing (or lack thereof) |

Update: No longer interested in my phone number, but he's getting frustrated with the MTCN number not working (I am using the MTCN vault page) I just told him I resent it with a new number.
I'll keep everyone posted. Likely next step will be to do the same with MoneyGram!!  |
