^^^^ Fuck them... My family eats the food and lives in the house paid for with honest earned money and the lads family are enjoying the spoils of ill gotten money so if they suffer a bit then it is extra punishment for the lad

Sorry Black Dog, but I disagree. Unless the family members are actively helping in the scam, then they are innocent third parties.
Hurting them doesn't punish the lad, it punishes them!

Always remember...lads lie....it is doubtful any of these lads family members are ill or dying. Its a common whine.

Yes family members could be considered ITP's however thats much like the Mafia wife saying she thought hubby was buying all the homes, cars, and diamonds from his salary as a plumbing salesman. Does anyone here seriously believe that a wife of a lad doesnt know where the money comes from? and if we agree that she does know doesnt that disqualify her from ITP status?

Right... it's the child's fault his or her father is a thief. If not, then the child suffering makes the lad suffer all the more, so it's okay. I think not.

Of course the child is an ITP. What is more innocent than a child? I do not for the life of me understand how anyone can justify hurting a child.

Every time a lad is safaried, he is away from his family and if he is the sole provider then we are hurting the family.
When a lad is straight baited, it gives him hope that his format has worked on a maga and the long amount of time he invests he could have been looking for legitimate work.

I personally think INHO that the children of the lads are just the next generation of scammer... Just as the lad currently being baited was when he was a Ladling more than likely

As for the ITP dealio:
To me, it seems like ITP's are going to get burned from time to time as a result of our antics. Whether it be a lad's family, cafe owners, artists, taxi drivers, hotel clerks, etc.
The real issue is whether we are going out of our way to directly involve them.

"Have a taxi bring you to suchaplace."
is different than
"Have a taxi bring you to suchaplace, and when it arrives, hurry and tuck and roll from the vehicle before the cabbie asks for his money."

"TWAT requires you to fall backwards off of a pyramid into the arms of your local congregation."
is different than
"TWAT requires you to push your wife and children backwards off of a pyramid into the arms of your local congregation."

It'd be a feat of manipulation to get either bad scenario to happen, but it would be unethical... even for a bait.

It would appear to me that a lad is a scammer and he is involving his family in his criminal liefstyle a baiter cannot be held responsible.

If a scammer involves his family in his activities, it is his fault and his fault alone. Every scammer has a family so do we stop baiting just in case they get hurt?

Victims have families too, so when a scammer considers them I'll consider the scammer's family, until them no holds barred.

As for ITP family members. All this crap coming from the "professionals" on this board. Oh wow. A few safaris and they know soooooo much about lads. It's great that they can put us all straight.

Now as lads lie, do you think they all tell their families what they do for a living?
Do you think they go around for Sunday lunch and say "Hey Mum, hey Dad, I steal for a living"?

Bullshit. Let me tell you something. I know you're professionals so coming from an "amateur" like me, maybe it won't carry any weight: But when I've come across lad family members (and I have) they had no fucking clue what their husband/boyfriend/son/father was doing. In the majority of cases the lad didn't return home for weeks. The family stays in the village whilst the lad fucks off to the smoke to do the scamming. In quite a few cases, the lad fucks off to a seperate country. In one case I dealt with, the wife thought her husband was in Germany when he was really in the next country along (Burkhino Fasso), merrily scamming away. The truth is, lads lie.

"Ah yes" I hear you cry, "But they still got stolen cash!!!.
Yeah. You'd think so wouldn't you? But in some of the cases I've dealt with, they got jack shit, nada, fuck all, nothing. The lad stayed away from home and spent his cash on hi-tech, jewellrey and clubbing. The family stayed at home scratching their asses.

But of course - you professionals would know that.

I wasn't pretending to not understand, you weren't clear with what you meant.

As if the lad is gonna move his whole family so we put it as an offer to draw the lad to Ghana.
