My lad just reminded me there is a WU office in every country except for India...

Not only that, I live on an island (which we actually do have here, if he'd ever check) and it takes me 2,5 hours alone to get on shore by boat. Then it's at least a one-hour drive to get to the nearest large-enough town with a WU office. And then it's 3,5 hours back home, which totals to a full working day.

Considering I'm indeed a *very* busy businessman with a personal life and who wants to keep things secretive (in order not to disrupt the business dealings Wink

) I don't take the boat all that often.

He insists on Moneygram first but is reluctant to go through the security forms. And I only sent 3 to begin with. The lazy bum.

Popie I think your only alternative is a bank to bank transfer. All you need is a bank account to send to and he'll have his money in a jiffy. Wink

ah...he's entirely right. India does indeed exist on the website.

I wonder what countries DON'T have western union, this may come in VERY handy for future baits.

Whatever anyone does, don't educate them that WU is available online 24/7/365 from any country via the Internet .
Although they probably realize this but can't access it from where they are, being scumbags who don't have bank accounts and all Smile

wow, did a quick google search on "obscure" countries cross referenced with WU locations. I have to say, WU really did their job, location location location. They're EVERYWHERE.

After extensive research (7 minutes) I came up with 3 hits: Tokelau, Sealand (a bunch of old British WWII abandoned sea forts that is now run by a group of people who inhabit them), and the Vatican (you can say that papal edict forbids you to exit the Vatican).

Your lad is talking rubbish. North Korea, Burma and Iran don't have westy.

Off course a lot of countries will accept transfers, but require certain security checks before money can be sent to those countries known to have Gomer Boyz working in westy offices.
