So, last week a freind of mine (whos not that good at english) randomly told me that he tried to sell his motorcykle. And ofcouse i asked to who, and he told me about "this english speaking guy from Netherlands", he said it looked legit, and have already had 3 others to look thru the e-mails.
I asked to see the e-mails, just from intrest. And it was full of the usual "lad talk", with long unpronuanceable words, and the excessive use of "as soon as possible", "urgent!", "ill add 100€ for the fee"... all that stuff.
A quick look in the header, and a visit at dsnstuff, reveald the real loaction (Nigeria) of our "buyer".
And to be sure i asked him to send a email, that was out of contex... and the reply was a script, send from nigeria.
I advised him to beak the contact, and never to reply to any of his e-mails again.
No hame done, havent heard from him in a week, and the MC was sold local.
Without the knowledge i have collected here, he could have lost 1000€ to nigeria.
(The only expense he had was 2€ for a beer to me, as a gratitude.)
