Scammer is sending me some money, checked the Wu its ready for pickup.
Is there any special thing to do with such information?

You'll have to forgive me as I am new here and I am still unaware of many scammer tactics.
What is the purpose of a scammer sending a victim a MTCN code? Won't the scammer just end up losing money? |

Convincing victim that they are serious with idea they are going to steal from them more anyways?
I guess its just small amount, like 5 $ or so... |

Now you can send that same number to X scammers with the message:
I finally fixed my computer, money is sent by WU, these are the details:
That poor scammer might thing you're a willing victim and divert his attention to you
As a paying victim you have a bigger handle on him and as he has no idea what the money is for, you can start doing the fun things  |

Most likely a lad recycling a transfer for a day or so that he has blagged from a victim. They do this from time to time to suck in more vics.
I wouldn't use it for anything. |

The money can't be picked up, nor can the amount be verified. When a victim responds, they are told they need to send a fee to have it transferred to their name so it can be picked up. Or some other such nonsense.
Sending it out to other scammers can be dicey because they may use it to dupe other victims. Best to just get it killed. |
