It's always YOUR fault. Your password got hacked. Not HIS fault.
Gee-yod I heard this ad nauseum from my last Laddo.
I told him my password had Egyptian hieroglyphs, Cyrillic alphabet,
was en-crypted and changed daily automatic.

So it had to be HIS fault of an easily guessable pass. Ask him "bet yours is ABC123 or something stupid like that." Tell him the level of TOP-SECURITY that you have. Alien symbols from a captured UFO.

FB has been in the news lately for poor protection and security.

Old Dill-Weed seems to have retreated to the false sense of security that only Fakebook can provide. Since there are (2) Don Gunshots evidently his avatar resembles Pancho Villa.

I pain-stakingly went through the 3 pages of posts here at this thread and counted a total of: 30, yes, thirty different baiters who said they were stringing ole Dim-bulb. Idea:

What say we all send him a co-ordinated mass mailing after this weekend
on next Monday. All baiters who responded you know who you are. Or perhaps I will send a polite PM to each and ask for a short memo to Don
just to "freak him the hell out". And 4 days of advance warning ?
Whaddya all say ??? He receives a huge volume of replies all in one day.
If some of you have multiple characters, more the merrier.

Yes, have set up FB-accounts like Gmail-accounts. As I do not maintain a RL-facebook account, I don't worry about that.
Surely, on the facebook server-logs is visible, to which accounts I login from the same computer.
And they do log the searches you do on other people, to tell you later .. You might also know ...
But - facebook is relatively new to me, and I am just exploring the merits

partysan, i appreciate the pasta and forward. I see why you don't worry about FB. I have gone to a link, it was Jumpin J.J. here at the site
had a Bank form stored at Photobucket. I went to just lurk and look and
to my surprise there was a pop-up "Would you like to send this pic to
your FB acct?" and my RL acct. was there and pic of myself.

FB worries me sometimes. I like it for the most part. As a baiting tool,
meh, not 100% risky-free to me the way I see it.

Partysan, and everybody here at the site, and all 30 or so baiters who jumped all over him, (and Entomologist is angling for a bank acct. #)

Actions speak louder. He may say he's learned a lesson, and learned that scam is not a good lifestyle. Let's review. He bombed the format from addy #1. dg @G then changed to #2. dg "1" @G switch to addy #3. don_hitlad_ (all those under-scores) @ "Live." Then he only wants to write at "F@ceb00k" , then he CLOSES the F@ceb00k account.

He answers 94 or so "Security Shield" questions. And some of the answers were telling. (and might be somewhat true). Love my mother, believe in ghosts-yes, vampires-yes, someone shot my dog, 1st kiss was great, etc. Kudos to Asena for that. Ento. still has him mailing back and forth, hasn't been dropped. So much for the big, bad, hit-lad.

partysan, I was reading that thread from 2008 and don_vanuchi
has a writing style that is very similar to don gunshot. And Vanuchi was at yahoo and This Don was at gmail, then gunshot "1" @gmail.
I don't recall that the current Don was ever at Yahoo.com. It was G, G again, then [email protected], and live is the same as hotmail. His 3rd addy had the underscores. Anyhoo...

I might try to necro the old [email protected] or is that the one you tried?? Did I read that correctly that you tried [email protected] ?

Also it will take time to compare the 2 writing styles from a forensic
handwriting analysis point-of-view. Very similar at first glance. Same grammar, word choices, construct., and possibly same mis-spellings.
Short story, might be the same guy sent out the same format 2 yrs. later

F'rinstance. I know in my own post style I tend to ov-er hyphen-ate

Brainiac, ^^ The (now closed) dongunshot1 @yahoo.com I did find on the other recent thread - [Invite Help hitlad], also a dongunshot @yahoo.com , which did not bounce when I did send him a small love-letter.

As for old_Don / new_Don, it was only my impression, that he is not a experienced hitlad. What I mean is:
The way he says (writes) everytime politely Good Day, and let himself string along with the SECshield-questions etc.

(But I did not have much conversation with him, I was not a compliant vic. Did quickly send insults or offered to help with his psychic problems and bad dreams of kill and blood.)

In 2 years 1 man can change his style, (depending on the influences he experiences) 0 but I see (forensicly) not so many coincidences in his correspondence, e.g. the use of the word 'assassinate ' is totally different, the opening of the letters - Good Day vs Hello Sid -
this is a fast shot, not a deep analysis. And - I have a big no clue off grammar ! Good luck.

They never are. I'm not sure if they ever have much success with this format, I'd guess playing on people's greed works better than playing on people's fear, but once in a while they'll no doubt find someone who's paranoid enough to believe someone wants them whacked, or has some good reason to think it's true. Either way, it's always nice to punish them for it.

'Don Vanucci' was easily as stupid as this one.

You'd think this type of email goes beyond common fraud, into the territory of demanding money with menaces, blackmail, threats to kill, whatever, and even the Nigerian police would want to jump on it. Yep, you'd think that. At first.

Yes Psyche-Delia, that's what really bothers me about the hitman format.
A reason I'm happy to jump all over it. Scams like next-of-kin, lotto,
romance, cancer patient and all those BARRISTERS are 1 thing.

This threat on your life, blackmail, terror, etc. thing is despicable.

No sense in speculating for days on whether they are the same "Don".
It's a fairly commonly used name, along with, "Ray".
