As many of you know, I am legally blind and one of my problems is Glaucoma

I got a new Dr a couple months ago - a lovely woman with a familiar accent. When I asked where, she said Nigeria!

I keep waiting for an offer - either a long lost relative dead in auto accident in Nigeria with a boot full of money OR a 'trunkbox' full of money

No offers yet - but she is an OUTSTANDING doctor!

Although does not automatically mean she is a scammer. I see no connection between her ethnicity and her professional ability/likelyness to commit crime.

Congrats, Dragonlady. You must already have won in a lottery since you found that gem. In my country we also have excellent doctors from abroad. I've been very happy with some of them and I always love the accents, too.

By the way, believe it or not, dear fellow baiters, Nigerians also receive scamletters. The Nigerians I know hate them probably more than I do. I once asked a Nigerian to assist me and talk with a scammiboi on the phone. It was a long and hilarious discussion that should have been recorded and it was the lad who paid for the fun. If my friend had more time from RL, he could easily become one of the best baiters under the sun because he knows the national psyche so well even though he's been away from the country for years.

To be honest, I have met Nigerians in RL who proposed to me all too quickly and I confess that I was tempted to bait them a bit. Laughing
