I don't think I've watched one full episode. But from trailers and partial episodes my guess from the beginning was:

And from what I could see while my wife watch the finale, the fat guy didn't lose one pound in all the time he was on the island. Glutenous bastard Laughing

It looked to me like he actually gained a bunch more weight!
I thought the ending was just "o.k.", but found it frustrating that after all the past season's hype that "all your questions will be answered", very few of my questions were answered.
Did the last scene in the church, when Jack finally joined the group, remind anyone else of the South Park episode, where a group of recently dead celebrities were waiting for Michael Jackson to join them on an airplane, so that they could "depart"?

I watched 2 episodes found a character I liked and wanted to watch it again but never got around to it and then today on Wikipedia and a clip on Youtube I find out that the character I liked died back in 2007 season.

^^^^Something along the same lines happened to me.
Then a colleague introduced me to the salacious delights of watching an entire season of the thing in one marathon sitting (shrugs. we´re like that) and it took hold of me.

Watched every damn episode, was avoiding this thread yesterday, as I only watched the finale last night.

Here it was broadcast 'Live from the USA' at 5am, btw US HD sucks, usually Lost is pin sharp but this wasn't.

Not all my questions were answered, but I got the gist of most of it. Quite how people who died years ago are back to life I'm not sure, but they all now live in a reality where the 'plane never crashed in the first place. They all seem to be in some sort of afterlife reality. How Desmond, and Daniel's mum get to be in control of it all I'm not so sure. No doubt there are forums where it is all discussed in far too much detail.

I'll check out Wikipedia in a few days for a summary of what went on. Smile

ETA: I just watched the start of the first episode on Youtube. It starts with Jack (in a suit) waking at exactly the same place that he died, the same dog (Vincent) is there, and the same shoe hangs from a tree, only then it looked white and new, at the end it is old and green.

Psychicbait: I would do that with animé series (In Japanese of course) and seasons of shows where I practically missed a lot of episodes but I don't do that anymore. I should do that seeing as I would watch a full Japanese series online (They're usually only 10 episodes long but they are almost an hour long for each of them). I would also watch online series too. In 2009, I become obsessed with a series called "Locked Up Abroad" which they had on YouTube and the National Geographic website for a while and I would watch those episodes, even though they were broadcast on the satellite TV I had at my mother's house.

Lost, Fringe, True Blood and a bunch of other ones are series that I really wanted to watch and get into but I just never made time to do so. That and I usually only watch TV on YouTube (Veoh, and other websites). There are also great online series that haven't made it to the mainstream that you should check out as well. I know there was series called "The Beautiful Life" and because nobody knew it was on (apparently) they had to cancel it and now they are continuing it on YouTube.

But I watched two episodes of Lost and definitely got lost. Laughing

Spun out over 6 years.

ETA: If Craig007 reads this, since when were jets able to back up? (out of the scrub and onto the runway) I thought that was why they needed those tugs to push them back.

Never watched it.

I did correctly work out the ending of 'Ashes to Ashes' though.

& devastated that 'Heroes' has been cancelled. Crying or Very sad

though that could have something to do with this

Saw it, loved it, even had some tears in my eyes.
Great moment of TV - maybe not TV-History but still TV.
Perfect end for a great show.
Perhaps a little too paranormal during the last season but at least not the stupid aliens who ruined X-Files. Wink
