Hi, I'm relatively new to baiting. I have been baiting for a couple of months, but not on a really big scale and I want to get into it more - particularly with a safari bait. I'm 2-3 e-mails in with a lad who I'm trying to develop to a safari, but my last couple of attempts were unsuccessful and the lads just dropped me with an insult. So I would like to know how people manage to get their lads to travel?
Thanks. |

You have to get them to trust you.
These are real people, so 2-3 emails probably won't be enough to get them to hop in the car and drive to the Skeleton Coast, unless the price is right.
Try easing into the safari idea, and having a great payoff for the lad upon travel.
But expect it to take time.
Edit: This is a pretty successful method, worth a look.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I know this will be a long process to get them to travel but I thought I would ask how I should go about it before I'm too far in to know what I need to do next.
EDIT: Cheers for the link as well. That is actually what I'm using to help me in my bait |

Try, try and try again. Some lads will never travel, some will travel easily. A lot of it is luck.
Here's a nice general guide in the Eater U section: http://forum.419eater.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=127059 |
