hi all

i've been playing on and off for years with the ones i get in my inbox occasionally. never got as far as anyone on here, i just piss em off for as long as i can Smile

anyway, i got one atm who somehow i have managed to get address, phone number (not sure if it works and don't really want to try) and today, their bank account number

never got this far before, any advice?

am i allowed to post up the details i have so more can play or just simply take over and let me watch Smile

up to 75 emails back and forth

Just to check, this isn't working with an email address associated with your real life is it?

That is not considered 'safe' baiting.

You should drop any scammers that you have replied to from any 'real life' email account. Set up a new email account with no links to your real person. You dont need to wait for scams to hit that new account tho. You can reply from that account to a scam mail that hit your real life account, or to scam mails you pick up from the surplus forum.

thanks, will do. will stop now with the 2 i have on the go and set up a new gmail account and do like you say (but will leave these 2 alone). thanks for the heads up (common sense thinking about it and reading around here a bit more).

I haven't had any hit my in box for like 6 months, and now 2 together. When it rains it pours... I was thinking about giving the details of scammer 1 to scammer 2, but scammer 2 hasn't asked me for $ yet

Hey there sa419er, and welcome to Eater!

Regardless of the fact that your personal address is GMail, you should still never use your real life or personal account for baiting. It's just not good practice, and it's something we don't encourage.

All you have to do is open another GMail account, one with no connection to your real life, and then have all the fun you want! Like Bolleboos said, you don't have to respond to an email that was actually sent to this new account, since they don't keep track of who they send their scripts to.

I looked up alan in the members list to give the bank account number to (thanks Nailgunner) but the alan it brings up has 137 posts?

is this the person to give the bank account number to to play with?

I would use the toothbrush vs bog brush analogy when describing the separation between your baiting account and RL account. That's how separate they need to be and for many of the same reasons.
